IEC 61340-5-1

IEC 61340-5-1 is an international standard that sets administrative and technical requirements for establishing, maintaining and verifying an ESD control programme for sensitive electronic items.

Using the standard

The standard addresses the complete programme, not just individual products. Controls must reflect the actual process, and the current edition and related documents should always be consulted. A glossary entry cannot replace the standard itself.
