Products in ESD foam are suited to internal logistics, storage, dispatch, service and transport between workplaces, where electrostatic risks need to be controlled without making daily work unnecessarily complicated. Packaging should match not only the component, but also the material route, storage time and handling method. When choosing, compare type of ESD protection, size, material, closure, labelling, reusability and possible MSL protection; for larger sites, availability, documentation and regular verification are also important.
