Accessibility statement

Stat-X CZ s.r.o. strives to make our online shop accessible to as many users as possible, in accordance with Czech Act No. 424/2023 Coll. on accessibility requirements for certain products and services. The Act implements the EU Directive on accessibility requirements for products and services (European Accessibility Act).

Scope of this statement

This statement applies to the online shop at www.stat-x.cz, including its Czech, English and German language versions. The shop is operated by Stat-X CZ s.r.o., Mánesova 390/74, 370 01 České Budějovice, Czech Republic, company ID 01992333.

Compliance status

The website is partially compliant with Act No. 424/2023 Coll. and with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, due to the issues listed below.

We launched the new online shop in 2026 and took accessibility into account from the start – from the heading structure and form labels to keyboard navigation. Automated tests in Google Lighthouse rate the home page, the product detail page and the enquiry form at 95–96 out of 100.

Non-accessible content

Some parts of the website do not yet fully meet accessibility requirements. We are working on fixing them.

Images and controls

• Some images have no text alternative, so screen readers cannot read them.
• Images in the category drop-down menu act as links without a text description.
• Some icon-only buttons, for example in the header or in the shopping cart, have no accessible name.

Forms

Some form fields in the shopping cart do not have a properly associated label, so screen reader users may not know what to enter.

Colour contrast

Some texts do not have sufficient contrast against their background, which makes reading harder for people with low vision.

Third-party content and services

Some parts of the website are provided by external services – for example map data, cookie settings or carrier services. Their code and level of accessibility are managed by their providers, and our ability to influence them is limited. If you run into problems with any of them, please contact us and we will complete your purchase with you another way.

We plan to fix the issues in our own content by 31 December 2026. The shopping cart and checkout come first, as they are essential for completing a purchase.

Alternative ways to order

If you cannot reach the information you need or cannot complete your order on the website, write to us or call us. We will help you choose a product, send you information in another format, or accept your order by e-mail or phone – on the same terms as on the website.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 30 September 2026 based on a self-assessment. We tested the website with Google Lighthouse (PageSpeed Insights) and WAVE and manually checked keyboard navigation. We update this statement after every major change to the website, and at least once a year.
